''Arbelodes varii'' is a moth in the Cossidae family. It is found in South Africa, where it has been recorded from the Western Cape Province. The habitat consists of Cape thickets and dwarf-shrubby seashore vegetation. The length of the forewings is about 10 mm. The forewings are light yellowish olive with sepia spots along the costal margin and three pure white spots at the apex, as well as a light yellowish olive terminal band mixed with olive-ocher and edged with sepia. The hindwings are glossy sepia with light yellowish olive veins. ==Etymology== The species is named for Lajos Vári who collected the holotype.〔, 2010: A revision of the genus Arbelodes Karsch (Lepidoptera:Cossoidea:Metarbelidae) from southeast-central and southern Africa with the description of thirteen new species.
